I'm the founder of Atelier Zorro, a creative studio I started during lockdown as a way to stay grounded, learn new skills, and create with my hands. What began as a personal outlet quickly became a passion for upcycling, mending, hand-sewing, and pressed flower art.For me, creativity isn't about perfection, it's about curiosity, self-expression, and rediscovering the joy of making something uniquely your own. In a world of mass production and endless scrolling, creating and customising your own pieces allows your personality to shine through.I've been running Atelier Zorro for over six years and am entirely self-taught, though creativity has been part of who I am since childhood. One lesson I've learned through my craft is that creativity is like exercise for the brain: the more we practise it, the stronger our imagination, problem-solving skills, and confidence become. My workshops are designed to help people embrace learning, let go of perfectionism, and reconnect with their creative side in a relaxed and welcoming environment.Whether we're stitching patches onto well-loved clothing or creating art from pressed flowers, my goal is simple: to help people experience the satisfaction of making something meaningful with their own hands.
