Creative Mending Workshop

Delve into different methods of repairing with Sow Studio.

2 hours Class size 1 to 5 guests       £30

Join this creative mending session at Sow Studio, an in-person workshop where you can connect with others who care about repairing clothes. It's a welcoming space to learn new skills or practise your existing ones.
In this activity, you will be taught different ways to mend your garments or materials. Your teacher will show you how to repair your items using techniques including darning and patchwork. All levels are welcome, so it's a perfect opportunity for anyone to get started with mending.
We recommend you bring a woven garment, such as jeans or a linen jacket, to work on. If you don't have anything suitable, why not ask a loved one for an item in need of repair? The patches available for use will range from 3cm to 10cm.
You'll leave the class with a renewed sense of purpose for your wardrobe, equipped with the skills and inspiration to give your clothes a longer, more creative life.
