Q: What safety gear do you provide?
On our UV resin workshops we provide a full safety kit for every student, including nitrile gloves and a P2V charcoal-valved mask. Our studio is also equipped with a Resiners PurAir filtration system, which is SGS-certified to remove 83% of resin-specific VOCs from the air.
Q: Are the gloves provided in resin workshops safe for allergies?
We use nitrile gloves because they are the gold standard for those with latex allergies. While true nitrile allergies are extremely rare (less than 1% of the population), some people may experience minor skin redness from the "accelerators" used to make the gloves stretchy. If you have extremely sensitive skin, please let us know.
Q: Is the resin "non-toxic"?
We use "Low VOC" resins, which are much safer and have a milder scent than industrial resins. However, all liquid resin requires respect. By using our specialized air purifiers and wearing your provided charcoal mask and gloves, your exposure is kept to a minimum.
Q: If I want to take your resin workshop, what happens if I have asthma or chemical sensitivities?
If you have severe asthma or a history of chemical sensitivity, we recommend consulting your doctor before booking. While our air is professionally filtered, resin can be a sensitizer for those with pre-existing lung conditions.
Q: Is the studio Step Free? Is it accessible for wheelchair users?
Our studio is located on the ground floor with step-free access directly from Spare Street. However, please note that while the unit is at street level, the internal doorway has a clear opening width of 70cm (700mm) and there is a small step to get into the studio so unfortunately a wheelchair will not be able to fit inside. We want to ensure your visit is comfortable; if you have specific mobility requirements or would like to verify any information with us, please contact us in advance.

A: 1.5 hours, £50 - £55 per guest (Earlybird price of £50 applies if you book into a public session 30+ days ahead, otherwise £55 per guest when you book for 1+ guests, £50/guest for 4+ guests. £80 per class surcharge applies for private classes)
