This unique art course, which takes place over two days, will have you constructing and casting shapes by creating your own moulds and using them to create solid shapes out of plaster and concrete.
We welcome all skill levels, including beginners, and you will have plenty of support throughout. Guided by your expert teacher Ben, you will learn the hands-on process of mixing plaster and concrete, making moulds, and how to work with different materials.
You will also take a more cerebral look at design by exploring the inspiring architectural possibilities of both negative space (the mould) and the positive space (the cast), as well as being encouraged to add different finishes and textures to your creations.
Both days of this London course will give you the chance to learn new skills, think through whatever you want to make, and check out material qualities first hand. A lunch break is included during the day.
