What you'll do
Express yourself through drawing and storytelling in this art course and learn how to make your very own mini-comic in a supportive environment. If you've been looking for fun things to do in London that will soothe that creative itch, this is the place to come.
Whether you're a fan of Marvel, Maus or Manga, this drawing course will help you explore your imagination and produce your own material with a simple narrative and intriguing characters. You will learn techniques that help you come up with compelling characters and stories and amazing pieces of art to go with it.
All the art supplies are provided from pens to template sheets and your talented teacher guiding your art classes will share their knowledge and give you feedback that will develop your skills. It's the perfect place for beginners to dip their toes into graphic novels for the first time and improvers to build confidence.
In this comic drawing course, you will:
- Start by sketching unique characters.
- Explore techniques to keep your characters consistent and that reflect their personalities.
- Learn how to use panels and page layouts that reflect the timing and action in the narrative sequence you've created.
- Produce and mini-comic you can take away and photocopy.
