Collective Floral Still Life Workshop

A collaborative drawing and painting workshop inspired by shared still-life arrangements.

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 10 guests

£35 - £40 (Earlybird price of £35 applies if you book into a public session 14+ days ahead)

Led by Gabby Graham
Come and take part in a gentle, communal art session where we build something beautiful together. Working from simple floral still-life arrangements, participants create individual sections that gradually merge into one large, vibrant mural.
Using easy floral templates, observation drawing, and expressive painting, each person contributes their own marks, colours, and shapes. As the table fills, the separate pieces begin to connect, petals meeting stems, colours flowing into one another, until a single shared artwork emerges. This workshop is about slowing down, noticing, and making alongside others. No experience is needed; the joy is in the collective process.
At the end, participants are invited to use a window mount card to frame a chosen section of the mural to take home. If you’d like your piece mounted, please bring £1.50 to pay directly to the tutor on the day.

Southlands Arts Centre is a wonderful Queen Anne Grade 2 listed building with extensive, beautiful grounds. It is the perfect backdrop for all creative people. The Centre is used by people and groups who engage in cultural activities across the fine arts, music, photography, film, and craft design.
We are well known for our exhibitions held throughout the year and attract some amazing artists (many local) who regularly exhibit their work at the Centre. We are also the home for The West London Photo Exhibition and SouthlandsLIVE.
