Recent reviews of Coffee and Paint - Self Guided Painting Experience

  • 5/5 from Lauren Beadle, attended Sep 2025: I booked this as a team building exercise and it was fabulous! We all had a great time :)
  • 4/5 from Ann Galloway, attended Sep 2025: This experience was in a small but beautiful café by the Thames in Woolwich. The owner, Denna, and her staff were welcoming but largely left me to my own devices. They provided all the equipment and I could paint what I wanted. I was left feeling a sense of accomplishment and peace. I enjoyed my time in The House of Denna and would definitely do it again.
  • 5/5 from Nina Cantero, attended Jul 2025: The people were really sweet, everything was included just needed to sit and enjoy
  • 5/5 from Neha Lala, attended Jul 2024: We recently attended a coffee and paint workshop at House of Denna, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The occasion was a much-needed break from the daily grind, and it turned out to be the perfect way to unwind and unleash some creativity. The highlight of the workshop was undoubtedly Denna, the cafe owner and the British summer (which finally arrived today). Denna’s energy was infectious and her passion for both coffee and art was evident in every moment. Denna’s charm and engaging personality made the experience all the more enjoyable. She was deeply involved in the process, offering encouragement to each participant. The venue itself, House of Denna, is cozy and welcoming, with a relaxed ambiance that instantly puts you at ease. The materials provided were top-notch – from high-quality paints and brushes to a variety of canvases, everything was thoughtfully curated. What I loved most about the workshop was the warm, community feel. Denna's hospitality and genuine interest in each participant made everyone feel special and connected. By the end of the session, not only did we have our own unique piece of art to take home, but we also felt rejuvenated and inspired. I highly recommend the coffee and paint workshop at House of Denna to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience. Whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a new way to relax and socialize, this workshop is a must-try. Denna's infectious enthusiasm and the charming ambiance of her cafe will leave you with wonderful memories and perhaps a newfound love for painting and coffee!

House of Denna

5.0 (847)

House of Denna is a cafe in South East London owned by Denna.
A silversmith by trade, she wanted to open a cosy venue where people could come and take part in a variety of workshops while drinking a coffee and enjoying a slice of cake.
As this is a cafe, we ask you not to bring in external food and drink.
