CMYK Screen Printing Course

Get to grips with the ins and outs of CMYK screen printing in this two-part workshop in Peckham, where you'll first learn the rules of colour separation inside out, then spend a full day breaking them to create something genuinely unconventional.In Part 1, you'll build a solid understanding of CMYK's limitations, potential and underlying logic – the theory that makes everything in Part 2 possible. Then in Part 2, you'll explore playful ways to subvert CMYK norms and push your prints toward more exciting, unexpected outcomes.Level: beginner to intermediate.Dates & times:

• Part 2 – Exposing and printing: Saturday, 26th September 2026, 10am–4pm

What's covered:

• Digital art-working CMYK separations, bitmapping, LPI–DPI, angles and frequency, stochastic dots
• Printing techniques, including printing a square on a square on a square on a square, and working with inks
• Moiré mitigation and exposing

Led by Giorgia Boller, a visual artist whose practice centres on screen printing and collage. After completing a master's degree in printmaking, she now shares the joys of screen printing with anyone keen to learn the process, guiding you from first principles right through to confident, creative experimentation.
