Who can enter the ClassBento Awards?

Any small business owner/teacher registered on ClassBento.co.uk can enter. 

We encourage all our talented artisans and makers to participate and showcase their incredible work.

How do I nominate myself or someone else?

We don’t have a nomination feature but we encourage you to send the entry form to any teachers on ClassBento that you think deserve an award! 

To enter the competition, visit this page and use the Google Form provided to enter. If you need any help with your entry, be sure to reach out to our team. 

What are the award categories?

  • Bright Beginnings Award: For an amazing newcomer making waves.
  • Local Legend Award: For making a real difference in the community.
  • Ace Artisan Award: For ultimate craftsmanship and creativity.
  • Trendsetter Award: For leading the way with innovative workshops.
  • Picture Perfect Award: For the most shareable workshops.

How are the winners selected?

Our external judging panel will review all entries and select winners based on the criteria outlined for each category. The judging process ensures a fair and thorough evaluation of each submission.

All the judges have signed terms and conditions which ensure an unbiased and fair competition. 

What do winners receive?

Winners will receive a prize package that includes recognition on our platform and social media, a special award badge for their ClassBento profile, and additional perks to help elevate their craft and business such as a monetary prize and photoshoot. See here for more details. 

Can I enter multiple categories?

No, you can only enter one category under one business/name. 

When will the winners be announced?

Winners will be announced on our social media channels on the 25th October. Stay tuned for the exciting reveal!

When is the entry submission deadline? 

The entry deadline is the 15th September. 

Do I have to write the full word count to win? 

The word count is there to ensure you don’t spend too much time on your entry as well as a guide for the amount you should be writing. You do not need to write the maximum word count to win, as long as you have included all of the points to consider listed. 

How do I make my entry the best it can be?

  • Include all of points listed 
  • Make sure you answer the questions asked
  • Upload high quality photos and video when possible 
  • Use figures, quotes and anecdotes to support your entry
