Christmas Jewellery Making Workshop at Next Door Records Two

Jewellery & lifestyle brand Stööki and the Stoke Newington’s hottest new record shop and bar Next Door Records Two have teamed up to present to you a special Jewellery Making Workshop as part of their 'Good Things' Christmas Market. A fun class where you can craft your unique piece all while enjoying a festive drink, grab some Xmas gifts from independent brands and listen to some DJs spinning tunes to complete the vibe. Perfect as a gift experience for your creative pal or to share with your loved ones. This event is the place to go to embrace your inner artist and relax. So get into the festive spirit and get carving!Taking place in Next Door Records (182 Stoke Newington Rd, London N16 7UY) and led by Stooki’s Nadia Abbas (Jewellery Technologist) and Luke Hippolyte (Creative Director), this two-hour workshop will focus on the creation and personalisation of rings and pendants. The session will involve an insight into the jewellery making process as well as the opportunity to customise a wax ring or pendant master with your own design.Throughout the class, you’ll learn a range of jewellery making techniques and be provided with all materials and tools. At the end of the workshop, you’ll also have the option of turning your personalised wax ring or pendant master into a finished jewellery piece.Prices:

• Additional gemstones will be available at the workshop to use at a price of £20 per gemstone.

*Please note* that these prices include the wax to make a ring or pendant the maximum size of the template provided at the workshop (4mm width). If you would like to receive a bigger template, we are happy to provide you with one on the day. At the end of the session, we will weigh your finished wax creation and charge you based on the extra weight of the chosen metal, plus an additional £5 casting fee.By the end of the session, you will have completed a carving of your jewellery design as a wax master in blue or green wax only. You can then choose to get the wax casted into a metal jewellery piece which is a process that takes place after the session and hand-finished by Stööki at our studio. All add-on options and prices are listed below and completely optional. Add-ons can be bought when you purchase your tickets online and also at the end of the session on the day.
