The kids absolutely loved it. My son asked for a 'flying vehicle' theme and the teachers brought a great selection of crafts to build and/or paint rockets, planes, etc. The slime buckets were also a huge success. They were attentive and accommodating, and very friendly and fun with the kids (ages spanned 3.5 to 6.5). I'd definitely recommend for children's birthday parties, and I may take one or two adult classes as well.

Upon arrival of guests, the host did not have command of the 12 5-9yrs, some children didnt have an apron on some did and there was no art "class" going on for the first hour. What took place was three areas set up for painting a canvas, colouring and play doh. The children then organised themselves as there was no theme or coordination thoughtout the host stood behind the barista counter. There was no circle time for 15minutes as advertised on the post. Unfortunately I would not recommend the children’s birthday party but probably the space without the host as we felt we were hosting the birthday party ourselves and we were even handed a broom at the end.

Art Play London was founded by Silva Castellani in 2018, starting in galleries such as Phillips, and pop up venues around London.Art Play is now a new art studio which opened in East London in February 2022, where children and adults of all ages are free to release their imaginations and inner creativity. Art Play has a strong focus and the environment and aims to educate children and adults on their environmental impact through art, using a variety of sustainable mediums and materials. Art Play is part of the worldwide Precious Plastic community which means it will be a plastic collection point for people to drop off their HDPE plastic which would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean. The plastic is then shredding and melted and turned into useful objects and pieces of art, such as plant pots and coasters.
