Children's Pottery Wheel Throwing Taster Class

Kids will love this pottery wheel taster session in London, which offers a calm and supportive space for them to get hands-on with clay. Through clear, step-by-step demonstrations, your young creators will discover how clay responds to their touch and learn the basics of centring and shaping on the wheel. There’s plenty of time for them to explore, ask questions, and see how small adjustments can change the form of their work.During this engaging workshop, children will:

• Welcome and studio introduction – Kids are introduced to the tools and basic safety rules to help them feel confident in the creative space.
• Demonstration and skill introduction – Children observe the tutor to learn about preparing clay, basic centring, and controlling the wheel's speed and pressure.
