I'm originally from Sheffield, but lived in both Spain and Australia before settling back in my hometown with my partner.
Outside of work I'm a big home cook, and enjoy creating new recipes for friends and family. I also love to travel, capturing as much street photography as possible – and trying new foods I can make at home! When I have time, I also enjoy creative writing, music production and a bit of home DJing.

- I ran a media production company from 2010 to 2022, photographing live music, fashion, editorial and lifestyle content for brands like Red Bull, Heineken, O2 Academy Group and Sony Music Group.
Top weekend activities
- Heading out somewhere for a nice extravagant brunch.
- Escaping for a day trip somewhere fun (extra points if it's by the sea!).
- Catching up with friends at the pub.
- A lazy evening in, with a nice bottle of wine and a delicious dinner (probably cooked by me!).
Favourite craft
I love any and all cooking classes – learning how to make dishes from different parts of the world is one of my favourite things to do. I'd love to try a long woodwork project – there's a kayak making class I've got my eye on!
3 top tips to recharge and unwind
- Stay connected. Spend time with friends and family – this is really important!
- Take breaks without guilt. You don't always have to be busy! Take time to relax and do the things you enjoy.
- Get outside. Fresh air, sunlight and nature can have a massive positive impact on your mental health. Sometimes just a change of scenery can make a big difference.
3 top tips for embracing creativity
- Allow yourself to be bad. Let go of being a perfectionist: you have to start somewhere, and the fear of failure can hold you back from getting started.
- Separate creating from judging. Don't stop to critique yourself as you're going along; this kills creativity!
- Quantity leads to quality. The more photos you take, stories you write or sketches you draw, the better you'll become. Aim for volume rather than perfection!
