What you'll do
Join this drop-in weekly evening class at my studio in Camden, North London. Classes are 2 hours long and are suitable for all levels. I will start by introducing some hand-building techniques, then over 8 sessions, you will make, decorate, and glaze your own ceramic pieces, such as a mug, vase, plant pot, candle holder, bowl, etc.I am an experienced ceramicist with over 12 years experience in hand-building pottery and a strong focus on painting and decoration. This is a fun and relaxed class where you can go at your own pace, and I will be there to guide you each step of the process. You will come away with your own unique pieces of handmade pottery.All materials are provided, and your finished pieces will be fired by me after the class and ready to collect in 3 weeks' time.I will provide tea and coffee for the class. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks.The studio is 5 minutes' walk from Camden Town and Camden Road stations. We are on the ground floor and are fully accessible.Please note, this is a hand-building class and you will not have access to a pottery wheel.

Your teacher
I'm a ceramicist and artist based in Camden, North London. With a background in illustration I was introduced to ceramics by attending an evening class back in 2011. Since then I have developed many ceramic collections illustrated in my signature figurative style and have stocked my pieces at Liberty London, Selfridges, Browns Fashion, Printemps and many more. I have been offering hand-building classes in my studio since early 2023 and have loved the experience of working with each group and helping people to develop their own special ceramic pieces.
