What you'll do
Join us for a unique ceramic painting workshop where you will unleash your creativity and learn how to transform a plain ceramic object into a work of art. In this engaging painting class, you will discover various techniques for decorating ceramics using vibrant colours and intricate designs.
During the workshop, you'll work with high-quality materials to create a piece that reflects your personal style and creativity. The hands-on activity and interactive learning experience will leave you feeling inspired.
Don't worry if you're new to painting – our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment for all participants. You'll feel a sense of accomplishment as you see your ideas come to life on the plate.
We will glaze your item which will be available for collection in 2 weeks. There is an option to have your beautifully painted ceramic object posted your home (£5 for UK address, £10 for international address).
The class options:
Paint a Ceramic Plate - 1 Large Coupe Plate (19 cm diameter)
Paint a Ceramic Plate Set - 2 medium coupe plates (15 cm diameter)
Paint a Waakye Plate - Our signature hand built stoneware plate (18 - 20cm diameter)
Paint a mini plate set - Set of 2 mini stoneware plates (11cm diameter)
Paint a Vase
There is also an opportunity to paint additional objects - plates, bowls and any other objects we have in stock for an additional fee on the day (£10-£20 depending on the object).

Ella Bulley Studio is a Material Design studio working with a range of materials, producing designed objects and experiences.
We started with exploring different concepts and craft to challenge how materials are perceived, in the hope to inspire more sustainable and innovative approaches to working with material.
One of our projects 'Ye O Niyenii' (eat your food), a collection of functional plates that celebrated and narrated Ghanaian food culture led to enquiries into us doing workshops. So here we are, inviting people into our studio who wish to switch off and delve into a space of creativity and exploration.
