I started judo at 30. No, I wasn’t some child prodigy on a tatami mat, I was a grown adult looking for something real. I wanted more than just fitness. I needed a practice that grounded me, challenged me, and made me feel alive again.
From the moment I stepped on the mat, I was hooked. Judo didn’t just strengthen my body, it rewired how I saw myself. It taught me how to fall, and more importantly, how to get back up. That simple principle has changed my life inside and outside the dojo.
Teaching judo became the natural next step. I’m passionate about sharing this art because I know firsthand how transformative it can be, even (or especially) when you start later in life. I tailor each session to the individual, helping people of all ages and backgrounds gain confidence, discipline, and self-awareness.
I’m currently teaching in schools and at my club in Ealing, working with children, teenagers, and adults alike. With over 15 years of experience and a Level 2 coaching license, I’ve taught across private schools, community programs, and competitive environments. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, I’d love to help you discover what judo can bring to your life.
Because it’s never too late to learn how to stand taller, both literally and metaphorically.
