I’ve spent the last few years building creative spaces and brands from scratch. So when I created The Scent Ritual, I brought everything I know about experience design into one room.

Scent was always the thing I kept coming back to. It’s the most invisible part of how we present ourselves and somehow the most memorable. But what struck me most is how personal perfume really is. How most of us never get the chance to create something that’s actually ours.

We all have rituals. Spraying your perfume before you leave the house, the one scent that just feels like you. Most people don’t even realise that’s a ritual. I wanted to give people the chance to build that from scratch. To make it truly theirs. That’s where the name came from.

The Scent Ritual is a 90 minute luxury perfume making experience in South East London. Intimate, intentional, completely personal. Guests build their scent note by note and leave with a 30ml custom fragrance, personalised label, and a formula that’s entirely theirs.

Every detail, the space, the welcome, the process, is designed to feel as good as the result.

The moment someone smells what they’ve made and says “that’s actually me, that’s everything. I love watching people slow down, engage properly, and leave with something genuinely theirs.
