In the past I made different types of jewellery, but had no prior experience of silversmithing. Ana guided me patiently through each step of the project, encouraged me to work independently and gave me support when I needed it. I am chuffed with my lovely ring. Her expertise and friendly and welcoming manner made it a wonderful and memorable experience. I look forward to another day of silversmithing with Ana in the future.Â

I learned how to measure and cut the ring band, how to solder the band and shape it, how to measure and make the bezels to hold the stone, and how to solder everything together. I am a contemporary silversmith and jeweller who has a great knowledge of working with some of the traditional techniques used to create handmade silverware and jewellery. Also, I have a vast experience working in community-based environments delivering creative activities and events to children, families, and adults. I am passionate about creating silver items by hand using traditional silversmithing techniques, and I aspire to translate it in the workshops through demonstrations, advice, and explanations
