  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Sep 2026: Absolutely amazing experience with Robyn! She made us all feel so welcome, was really clear and guided us through step by step. • 5/5 from Scott Williams, attended Sep 2026: Our pottery session with Olympia today was wonderful. She was very friendly, welcoming and informative. Throughout the 2+ hours I don't think there was a moment she wasn't either smiling or supporting. The group we were with were very wholesome and the atmosphere was a really nice way to start our weekend. Me and my wife had done a potters wheel day experience several years ago and whilst some of the steps we remembered, Olympia also provided more information on not only how to achieve the outcome with correct technique but also on why the steps themselves are important. We're really excited to get our pots back and having them glazed in that beautiful colourway will make the piece much more appealing than experiences we've had where the finished product is a 'standard' brown terracotta. We've enjoyed it so much and are now considering one of the courses in the future. We can't thank Olympia enough!
  • 5/5 from Gavin Nall, attended Sep 2026: Thanks you. It’s was great to have a taster session with Robyn. She was fantastic and very patience with us.

  • 5/5 from Jessie, attended Sep 2026: I had so much fun in this taster session! Our teacher, Olympia, was fantastic and everyone else in the group seemed to have a great time too. Highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Josie Porter, attended Sep 2026: I went with my mum for her birthday as she had done a pottery course before but had mainly only done hand building and wanted to try more of wheel throwing. We were warmly welcomed and offered hot drinks before being shown into the spacious but cosy back room for our session. Esther was very friendly and open to any questions. The pottery itself was challenging but very fun! We managed to make a few pieces and the extra charms to keep both was small. I definitely want to go back to Pavlov.
  • 5/5 from Marie Meunier, attended Sep 2026: It was a great way for 3 friends to spend a morning learning something new. Olympia was a very friendly, patient tutor. Really felt we learnt the basics and looking forward to receiving our glazed outcomes.
  • 5/5 from Peter Hoare, attended Sep 2026: We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and wanted to do something a little different. What a great choice. Ester showed us what to do and guided us through making some lovely little pots, very welcoming and encouraging, well worth the visit. Many thanks to the whole team.

I purchased the session for my friends birthday on a recommendation. It was really enjoyable and Esther was so helpful and informative and we loved it. Thank you Esther x
  • 5/5 from Libby Coates, attended Sep 2026: I booked the beginners pottery class for myself and my partner and it was great!! Hazel was extremely information and talked us through the process. She was super relaxed, friendly, approachable and very helpful!!! She was always there to touch up any mistakes or show us how to create the result we were after. The atmosphere was lovely too. Lots of laughs!
  • 5/5 from Amrita, attended Sep 2026: Thank you so much to Robyn for an amazing class. Was super detailed, helpful. We both had a brilliant afternoon learning about pottery throwing. She was very patient and it was a great activity to do. Thanks once again! Can't wait to see how the pottery turns out! :)
  • 5/5 from Zaynab Abrar, attended Sep 2026: Really enjoyed our session - it was so fun and our instructor was amazing and so patient with us! Only a shame about the room we were doing it in as it was extremely hot (like a greenhouse) - we even chose to leave earlier and not make our second item as it was too uncomfortable in the room. Would be amazing if they could get some air conditioning as it was an absolutely great experience otherwise.
  • 5/5 from Anne Mason, attended Sep 2026: I attended with my 13 year old nieces. We were looking for something different but interesting to do in the school holidays. It was fantastic! Our tutor was informative, patient, kind, helpful and gave very clear details about what was involved and included within the booked session. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed a taster of learning something new and we will definitely be back. Unfortunately all of my photos have my nieces on so I am unable to upload them. Highly recommended!
  • 5/5 from Nathaniel Swettenham, attended Aug 2026: Robyn was really friendly and guided us well while allowing us to be creative. We had such a great time and are already thinking about returning for more!

  • 5/5 from Lizzie Mullins, attended Aug 2026: We went to celebrate our 9th (pottery) wedding anniversary. The studio was really nice, bright and clean. The class size of 6 was ideal. Our teacher Esther was really clear, helpful and encouraging. It was good to have two attempts, so the first go could be more of a practice run and the second go I could make something worth keeping. I look forward to finding out the end result (it's worth being aware that it takes about 8 weeks for the finished product to be ready to collect)
  • 5/5 from Chris Kinsey, attended Aug 2026: For a birthday treat, it was fantastic. Esther was so knowledgeable and helpful, encouraging and happy to help. The place was fantastic, we will definitely be returning. Great value for money too
  • 5/5 from Vladyslava Diachenko, attended Aug 2026: Great class! Olympia was very helpful and nice. Loved that we had 2 takes to create something
  • 5/5 from Eleri Wilson, attended Aug 2026: I would highly recommend this fun and relaxing experience. I took my two daughters to celebrate their birthdays for a pottery taster session and we had a great time making our pots which turned out really well (with the patient and expert advice of Hazel who gave us step by step tuition and kept our creations on track when they went a bit wonky!). It was a lovely thing to do together as one of my daughters now lives in Spain. We can't wait to collect our works of art once they have been through the kiln.
  • 5/5 from Olivia Spencer-James, attended Aug 2026: Really enjoyed the class. Only a small group of 6 so very intimate and personable setting. The teacher Esther was really lovely and explained everything really well, made it look easy! Really fun getting stuck in, overall loved it. Worth the money and 2hrs was more than enough although I probably would have carried on as very therapeutic!
  • 5/5 from Temiloluwa Kazeem (Temi), attended Aug 2026: The pottery class was super fun for me and my friends as it was all our first times, it was super fun and interesting and the teacher was so sweet, funny, understanding, kind and super patient. I honestly recommend this for sure!
  • 5/5 from Hayley Hemmings, attended Aug 2026: Had a brilliant time learning how to do pottery. Hazel gave clear instructions and was always on hand to help. We had a choice of what we wanted to make, and were really impressed with what we produced and I’m sure it was all thanks to Hazel. Can’t wait to collect them Thoroughly recommend
  • 5/5 from Lidiya Karibzhanova, attended Aug 2026: Good teacher, lovely time, well spent money, felt loojed after, did many attempts good lessons
  • 5/5 from Isra Mohamed, attended Aug 2026: Great introduction to pottery to any beginner, the teacher was very patient and explained everything well.
  • 5/5 from Katherine, attended Aug 2026: Robyn was a wonderful teacher - she made the whole thing feel really relaxed and explained things so clearly. I was nervous about coming on my own but it was such a warm and friendly experience and I absolutely loved the pottery throwing itself... I'll definitely look to try it again in the future. Our teacher (I think her name was Renee?) was helpful and encouraging, a great way to spend an afternoon.
  • 4/5 from Afsah Shazad, attended Aug 2026: Loved the experience of something new. Great set up and learnt throughout. Hazel was great at teaching us!
  • 3/5 from Mariam Afzal, attended Aug 2026: We booked the pottery-making experience for a friend's birthday and had a lovely time overall. We each had the opportunity to have a couple of attempts and choose a final piece to keep. The only area for improvement would be the instruction. At times, our instructor seemed a little impatient, which slightly affected our overall experience. That said, we still enjoyed the activity and appreciated the opportunity to try something new.
