Recent reviews of Papercraft Quilling Workshop
- 5/5 from Keeley Southern, attended Apr 2026: Great workshop. Showed just how easy it is to do it yourself, showed up tips and tricks on how to make the different patterns then let us choose the background and stencil to choose, also what colours we wanted to use. The class flew by and was a great time. A couple of people had kits at home, but had never made anything and said they will definitely try again. Will definitely try something like this again.
- 5/5 from Alex Meredith, attended Apr 2026: Really enjoyed this and would recommend.
- 5/5 from Jess Mellor, attended Jan 2025: Me and my 9 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the paper quilling class! The quilling itself is equally therapeutic and satisfying, and Vicky was great, catering to all of our needs! Moments after stepping foot outside the door of the workshop, my daughter asked if we could come back again next week!
- 5/5 from Karen Murray, attended Jan 2025: Absolutely fantastic afternoon, Vicky was brilliant nothing too much trouble and a great teacher, explained the basic quilling techniques clearly and demonstrated how to make the shapes too. Will definitely do another session. Really please with my quilling Bee picture.
- 5/5 from El Pulpo, attended Aug 2022: We booked the bespoke quilling workshop as a treat for our paper wedding anniversary! We had an absolutely fantastic time. Vicky - our teacher, was really patient and informative. We had a lovely chat with her as we worked our quilling magic! Would recommend this workshop to anyone!
Your teacher
We’re passionate about craft but being able to make things you’d actually be proud to show off in your home or give as a gift. We also try to offer a range of activities that are a bit different, away from the norm but still being accessible for any level of craft skill.Common Room is run by Vicky & Ella. Vicky is a teacher by day but also runs a perinatal mental health support group and is passionate about positive mental health. Ella has a creative background in photography and interior design and also runs her own business Ella's Garden. They've got a mutual love of craft and so decided to combine their skills and set up Common Room to facilitate other people to make and create.
