  • 5/5 from Claire Bignell, attended Sep 2026: Went with friends for a new experience, it was great fun getting stuck into the clay and creating something that we could actually take home (at a later date once Rachel has put them in the kiln) and use. Rachel was friendly, patient especially after sorting out a few of my mistakes! The whole experience was really enjoyable.
  • 5/5 from Rob Pratt, attended Sep 2026: Me and my dad had a wonderful time learning how to make pottery. The class was easy to understand, and Rachel was excellent at explaining if we struggled! We would 100% recommend coming here as a beginner.
  • 5/5 from Karen House, attended Aug 2026: Rachel was very good at explaining everything and took time with us individually when some of our pots went wrong. We also overran - 2 hours is probably not enough to make and paint - but Rachel was very tolerant of the time overspill and we all left happy.

  • 5/5 from Sam Laverick, attended Aug 2025: Booked the experience for my husband’s birthday because he was interested in getting a bit of experience in using the pottery wheel. This was exactly what he wanted and we loved it to pieces! Rachel is an amazing teacher, friendly, very patient, supportive and passionate. She guided us with clear instructions and we both managed to create and decorate two pieces that we absolutely love. Definitely recommend this experience for beginners especially, but also if you have a little bit of experience yourself. I think Rachel is very competent and knows how to guide you to bring out the best in your skills. Will definitely come back for other workshops because they all sound interesting.
