Use Selected Texts (no Pre-reading Required)

You will use selected texts to reflect on your experiences guided by your facilitator. You don't have to prepare anything, bring yourself and an open mind!

Guided by your facilitator (a trained therapist)

Guided by Your Facilitator (a Trained Therapist)

Your facilitator is a trained psychotherapist with 10 years of experience working with clients. While her role is a facilitator rather than a therapist she will know what questions best to use to guide discussions.

Connect with others about your shared experiences

Connect with Others About Your Shared Experiences

You will be able to connect with like minded people who are also interested in personal development.

Join us for a warm, welcoming small group session where you'll explore books and texts that celebrate and illuminate the female experience – guided by an accredited therapist in a space designed for genuine connection and reflection.
Personal Development Groups offer something special: a supportive environment where you can learn new skills, build confidence, and discover ways to nurture your emotional well-being, all alongside people who share similar goals and curiosities. There's no pressure, no judgement – just space to be yourself and grow.
What makes this session unique is the use of bibliotherapeutic practices – carefully selected books, stories, and written materials chosen specifically to encourage reflection and understanding. Through thoughtful discussion and exploration, you'll gain fresh perspectives, discover new coping strategies, develop self-awareness, and find inspiration for making positive changes in your life. The literature becomes a starting point for conversation, connection, and personal insight.
Whether you've been part of personal development groups before or this is your first time exploring something like this, you'll feel right at home. The facilitator's expertise and genuine care creates an atmosphere where it's safe to think deeply, share openly, and simply be heard.
This is a one-off introductory session – a perfect way to get a feel for the group and see if it resonates with you. If you fall in love with it (and many people do), you'll have the chance to reserve your place in the ongoing group and continue exploring together.
No previous experience necessary – just bring an open mind and a willingness to connect.
What you'll get
A taster session of a personal development group and possibly some great book recommendations from fellow attendees.

We facilitate personal development groups for anyone interested in personal growth, reflection, and meaningful conversations. The group uses bibliotherapy skills to promote self-reflection and guided discussion, leading to greater self-awareness. None of the sessions will require attendees to have prior experience in personal development groups, and you are very welcome to join just for a single session, as each session is designed to be a self-contained experience.
In these personal development groups, you will:
  • Read carefully selected books or literature.
  • Reflect on themes, characters, and emotions.
  • Make connections between the text and your own experiences.
  • Connect with like-minded people, share your insights and your experience.
About the facilitator:
The groups will be facilitated by a psychologist and psychotherapist, Reka Hunyad. Reka has been supporting clients in their self-discovery journey for the past 10 years. Having attended self-development groups herself, she experienced first-hand the value they can offer in the journey of self-discovery.
(Disclaimer: While these groups may incorporate books and reflective reading activities, they are self-development groups rather than bibliotherapy groups and are not intended to provide bibliotherapy as a clinical intervention. While attendees may find attending these groups therapeutic, these are not group therapy sessions.)
