  • 5/5 from Norma Ward, attended May 2026: I found the lesson very relaxing and really enjoyable. The teacher was very patient, and I learnt, the basic stitches of crocheting, definitely gave me encouragement to carry on.
  • 5/5 from Karina, attended Apr 2026: This was bought for me as a birthday present. It was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and Karina was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Her expertise was invaluable. I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the teacher. Thank you Karina, I will definitely be back to do the next stage.
  • 5/5 from Danielle Hughes, attended Apr 2026: Our teacher Judith was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We learnt a chain stitch and double and treble crochet and we're given 2 balls of yarn, a crochet hook and details instructions to take away. Another attendee was left handed and struggled learning the 'right-handed' way that Judith was able to teach. She was advised to book a session with another colleague who is able to teach left handed crochet, so unless you are ambidextrous check in advance which collegue is running the class. We were given hints, demonstrations and tips and had a great time and came home feeling positive that we are well on our way to being able to carry on crocheting.

  • 4/5 from Jo-Ann Spence, attended Dec 2022: Teacher was really great (sorry forgot her name) and really good with my 14 year old daughter. The crochet kit was lovely. The venue however was freezing as the store doors were broken (apparently have been for a long time) and so open the whole time. Not great at 7pm when there's frost outside. Felt quite sorry for the staff working there.
  • 5/5 from Tracey Evans, attended Nov 2022: Really enjoyed the class/group. It was nice and small so straight away my anxiety decreased. The store was easy to find. Then, once in the store, their were stickers on the floor guiding you to your "workshop". We all got a box with written instructions and pictures of what we have learnt with 2 balls of yarn and a crochet hook. (Which you take home with you). At the end of the class we had learnt to chain stitch, double crotchet and triple crotchet stitch. We were not rushed and we could go at our own pace. Judith was great, the teacher, very patient and showed us how to do each stitch as well as coming round individually to show us and explained how to look at your work for checking your stitches and tension etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone, it wasn't just us ladies either, it was lovely to see a gentleman in the group.

  • 4/5 from Lorraine Webster, attended Sep 2022: Suzanne was a great tutor and found the class very relaxed. Being a complete beginner I found it hard to get my hands to work together and haven't managed to have another go once home but was offered back up advise if needed I now understand what a double crochet stitch is. Overall it was very good value for money the kit was of good quality I just wish we'd had a bit more time as I was just getting into it. Will definitely be looking at other courses on offer
