One-to-one Crochet Workshop

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a one-to-one and ask any questions you have about Crochet

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a One-to-one and ask any questions you have about crochet. Stuck on a project? Need help with understanding a pattern? Trying to get to grips with a new stitch? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for crocheters looking for that next step on from our Beginners' Workshops, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need. It’s a great way to gain confidence with your craft, troubleshoot any problems you’re having with your current project in an easy, direct way or learn about stitches you’re not as confident with yet.

During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Artisan know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.

You’re sure to walk away a crochet pro, ready to take your designs to a new level!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Charlotte McLaughlin, attended Jun 2026: Key was so patient and informative, we wouldn't have been able to grasp it without her. She was so warm and friendly too, we loved her.
  • 5/5 from Jan Holmes, attended Apr 2026: Had a one to one crochet lesson with Amy, she was really lovely, put me at ease and was a good teacher, taking time to make sure I’d mastered the the basic stitches, thanks Amy
  • 5/5 from Sophie Lynch, attended Apr 2026: Amy was absolutely brilliant - thank you so much! She Revised the sitches I had learnt in the beginner class, but doing it one to one was fab, we covered alot, and she taught me how to make a magic circle, increase and decrease sitches - Now I just need to practise!

  • 5/5 from Bibi Miller, attended Jun 2025: New to crochet and needed some extra guidance. One to one with Ava was super helpful and I feel more confident. I’ve taken a beginners class which was excellent but this session helped me improve my skills.
  • 5/5 from Emily Titley, attended Apr 2025: My daughter and her friend really enjoyed their 1:1 crochet class. The teacher was so friendly and patient and really knowledgeable. The hour absolutely flew by and they are desperate for another lesson so they can learn more advanced crochet skills! Thank you!
  • 4/5 from Ann Loizou, attended Apr 2025: Kee, my tutor was very patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what I wanted from the workshop. I had a one to one crochet tutorial. I am not an absolute beginner but needed help. I was given ideas on how to work on a project myself. I have only given 4 stars because the choice fields for the booking were very narrow otherwise it would have been 5. My suggestion would be a box like this to say what I was looking for help with. I left the workshop feeling fired up to work on my project. Thank you again Kee and I will be back to show you what I have done.
