Sgraffito Pottery Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn the traditional pottery decorating technique of sgraffito. Through hands-on experience, you will create your own unique dish by rolling out a slab of clay over a plaster mould. Paint a contrasting colour onto your dish and then carve or etch away a pattern to reveal the clay underneath.Don't worry if you're new to this – tracing paper will be provided for you to plan your design, and you can bring along any images you'd like to use for inspiration.Throughout the session, you'll feel the joy of working with clay and the satisfaction of creating something beautiful from scratch.
