Join Seka Candles and Mr Beanstalk Coffee Co for a relaxed candle-making brunch experience where creativity meets good food, great company, and even better vibes.
Whether you're catching up with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply carving out a little time for yourself, this is your invitation to slow down, sip, and create.
What's Included:

  • A guided candle-making workshop led by Seka Candles
  • Create and take home your own 220ml luxury soy wax candle

Brunch Afterwards:
Once you've finished pouring your candle, why not make a morning of it?
Guests are welcome to stay after the workshop and enjoy brunch from Mr Beanstalk Coffee Co's delicious menu. Brunch is optional and can be purchased separately on the day.
No Experience Needed:
Whether you've never made a candle before or you're a returning Seka Candles guest, we'll guide you through every step. You'll learn how to blend your chosen fragrance before pouring your very own candle to take home.
Come solo, bring your partner, or gather your favourite people—our workshops are designed to be relaxed, social, and welcoming for everyone.

Not at all! This workshop is beginner-friendly and guided step by step.
What to bring
Just bring your beautiful self. All materials are provided, including wax, fragrance oils, vessels, and tools. You’ll leave with your own handmade candle.

Hello, beautiful soul.
I’m Noku, the heart behind Seka Candles.
Like many of us, my path hasn’t been straightforward. My childhood, teenage years, and early 20s were marked by struggles I didn’t fully understand until I hit my lowest. Being diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and PTSD, it was both a revelation and a turning point, and I'm still on my healing journey.
Learning how to navigate my mental health day by day, candle making has been one of the pillars that’s kept me grounded, a gentle practice that reminds me to pause, breathe, and reconnect with myself when the world feels heavy. Out of this practice and my deep respect for the environment, Seka Candles was born.
Five years into this craft, I've delivered 8 workshops, and I've had the pleasure of being featured in Stylist Magazine, Simply Business, and Portsmouth News. You can also find my products in various boutiques and cafes.
But this brand is about more than just creating beautiful, sustainable candles. It’s about something bigger—a movement of self-love, healing, and mindfulness.
It’s a space for evolving self-connection, a reminder that self-care isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. Each candle is created to hold space for softness, stillness, and peace, for those moments when you need to return to yourself.
