- 5/5 from Lisa Leeks, attended Apr 2026: I went with my mum and sister in law. We had such a lovely time. Really fun - not quite sure our finished efforts properly represented the really lovely, kind and patient teaching we had from Fay. We’ll definitely keep an eye out to do again!
- 5/5 from Joanne Lenehan, attended Mar 2026: First time of doing so didn't know what to expect. The venue was great with a great playlist. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Faye our teacher and offered our mimosas before taking our seat before our easels. I did think before we went that we would be choosing what we painted but everyone in the class had to do the same with instruction from Faye. This was actually better than expected and still allowed for individual artist licence. I came away with something that actually looked like what it was supposed too. Improvements to be made, I struggled to see Faye's easel and it would have been better situated in a central palace where all could easily see, in fairness I didn't say at that the time that I was struggling with this. I also think as well as everyone having their own palate for paints having access to some kitchen roll would be beneficial. I attended with my hubby and adult son, and we all thoroughly enjoyed doing it and are already planning to try again in the near future. So in essence, fun activity to do with others in a great setting with friendly, knowledgeable teacher with a take home reminder of a good time. The process of booking etc was easy and I did have to cancel and rearrange at one point, customer service was great.

What once began as two people that followed each other on Instagram, has turned into a lifelong friendship and an amazing business! In 2021, founders of Muse and Mimosas, Faye and Maddie (both nude artists by trade) decided to take their skills and their shared desire to advocate for women by hosting small paint-along events in Solihull.Muse and Mimosas now host events around the whole of the West Midlands and beyond, teaching beginners and amateurs the skills of painting whilst also creating an environment for growth of friendships and for people to relax and unwind.What started as a fun and different activity for people to try after lockdown has become a story of great female success. And they don't plan to stop growing anytime soon!
