Whether you're tired of ill-fitting bras or you're simply looking for a new sewing project to get stuck into, here's your chance to join the fun and make your own bra. In this online sewing class, you'll be learning to make your own bra using the famous bra pattern by the indie pattern American designer Amy Chapman from Cloth Habit.

The first session will focus on getting to know your pattern size, the fabric and the equipment
needed to sew your bra.

You'll learn all the skills you need from your friendly, energetic host, who'll make sure you're having a great time while you create your personalised bra.

During the class will learn:

  • Take measurements and choosing the correct size for you.
  • Cut out and annotate the pattern information.
  • Choose the correct type of stitch for your seams.
  • Attach elastic to stretch fabric.
  • Making channels for wires.

Note: This pattern uses UK bra sizing. After a D, it increases to D, DD, E, F, FF, G, GG, H.
