While working as a Secretary/PA, crafting became my sanctuary, a way to slow down, breathe, and remind myself of who I was beyond the pressures of everyday life. In moments of stress or self-doubt, making something with my hands helped me rebuild a sense of calm, confidence, and purpose. I chose to teach craft because I believe in its power to transform. Craft@25 was created from a heartfelt desire to inspire others to reconnect with their creativity and, in doing so, reconnect with themselves. My aim is to create a welcoming space where people feel encouraged to explore, create freely, and discover the joy and well-being that comes from making. Teaching craft is about more than techniques; it’s about empowerment, mindfulness, and self-belief. If someone leaves a session feeling calmer, more confident, or inspired to create again, then I know I’ve shared something truly meaningful.
