You’ll attach a wax running and rising system, essential for guiding the molten metal into your creation. Then, you’ll apply a ceramic shell investment, setting the stage for the transformation from wax to bronze.3rd Saturday: Foundry DayExperience the thrill of the foundry! In this exciting session, we’ll burn out the wax from the investment, preheat the ceramic shell, and melt bronze to pour into your mold. Witness the alchemy of turning your artistic vision into solid metal!4th Saturday: Metal Sculpture Clean UpThe final day is all about refining your masterpiece. You’ll break open the ceramic shell and reveal your bronze sculpture. We’ll guide you through the cleaning process—sandblasting, cutting off the spurring system, and finishing touches like polishing or applying patina to achieve your desired aesthetic.Who Should Attend:This workshop is perfect for artists, hobbyists, and anyone curious about metalworking and sculpture.
