Fused Glass Workshop

Hosted by Claire, an experienced glass artist based in Tayport, you'll be guided through each step of how to use glass to make your own wall panel (20cm x 15cm).Fused glass art is a soothing, contemplative skill that lets you turn coloured glass pieces into dazzling works of art. Under Claire's expert tutelage, you'll get to grips with every step of creating your piece.Don't worry if this is your first time working with glass, as all the equipment and materials you'll need are provided for you. Claire will also be on hand throughout the session to offer tips, advice and a helping hand if necessary. Whether you're treating yourself or looking for unique gifts for mum, dad or any of your crafty friends, this one-of-a-kind class is sure to give everyone a great time.If you feel you need more information on processes and what can be achieved prior to the class please contact Claire in advance. All materials and equipment to make your choice of a glass panel measuring 20cms x 15cms.Stands for the panels are not included in the workshop but can be ordered from Claire. These are made to order and take a few weeks for delivery.The glass supplied varies between off cuts and small sheets. If you require larger pieces of glass for your panel please contact Claire with your colours at least two weeks in advance of the workshop so the glass can be ordered in advance.The panels require firing in a kiln after the workshop is finished therefore the finished panels will need to be collected or posted after all firings are completed.
