  • 5/5 from Stephanie Duncan, attended Apr 2026: Cannot rate Claire (our glass fusing tutor) highly enough. She went over and above to get us booked in and she explained everything clearly and made us feel comfortable, offering advice and help when needed. Cannot wait to get our finished pieces once fired. Thank you Claire, would recommend to anyone.
  • 5/5 from Gillian Ross, attended Mar 2026: Really relaxed and creative few hours. Informative introductory instruction to the group from the tutor with one to one support thereafter. Lovely to be able to develop a new skill within the parameters of your own creativity. All materials and safety gear provided. Fabulous day....can't wait to see the completed result after firing in the kiln. The gift card was easily exchanged with follow-up emails and info. Excellent
  • 5/5 from Louise Hutchison, attended May 2025: Excellent experience at this class. The Teacher was really knowledgeable and only too happy to share hints and tips with us to support us throughout the morning. Will definitely return for another class.
  • 5/5 from Caroline Georgiou, attended Mar 2025: excellent experience, being creative in a new way with a very supportive teacher. Highly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Kathryn Talbot, attended Feb 2025: Friendly and helpful teacher, great setting with toilets and space to sit down. I made a seascape and my husband made a picture of two snowdrops. The gift card was easy to use and was still valid almost 2 years after purchasing!
  • 2/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Feb 2025: I loved learning about fused glass, and having a go. I would really have appreciated an email in advance, with advice on travel, parking, what to wear, what to expect, what was and wasn't included in a 10am -2pm class. There was a cafe on site, but that wasn't communicated in advance, and no food or drink was included. There was no safety briefing, and several participants cut fingers. Goggles were provided, but not mentioned. The actual glass techniques were covered very briefly, covering this in advance would have been helpful, then reinforced in person. There was no welcome, and the teacher didn't introduce herself to anyone. The class started late, over 20 minutes, waiting for 2 late-comers. The glass supplied for cutting was already quite small, so this hampered creativity somewhat. The Larick Centre is gorgeous, I'd have enjoyed more info about the venue, might have planned to come earlier, or stay later. Just a link. In a welcome email, along with expectation setting (hoped to bring something home with me, didn't know if I could make a bowl, something tiny, some examples, of entry level and high quality work, to help me form a plan in advance)
  • 5/5 from Jenni Brown, attended Sep 2024: This was a birthday treat for my mother and sister who both enjoyed the class and experience.
  • 4/5 from Catriona Callaghan, attended Aug 2024: We went to a glass fusing class, which was great fun and we learnt a lot
  • 5/5 from Kati Harwood, attended Apr 2024: Friendly and knowledgeable instructor. There were lots of materials to choose from and overall I found it a very enjoyable class
  • 5/5 from Christine Clark, attended Mar 2024: Class was very informative and interesting. Learnt how to make and use the glass in so many different ways. This was a 70th Birthday present from my family, so glad they picked it for me
  • 5/5 from Andy Mackenzie, attended Feb 2024: Claire gave clear instructions and was very helpful throughout. Everything was very organised and well resourced. Learned to cut glass and different stages of fusing. No problem for complete beginners. A relaxing way to spend a Saturday. I am looking forward to seeing the results once everything has been taken out of the kiln.
  • 5/5 from Jen Keir, attended Sep 2022: Lovely, patient teacher - nothing was too much trouble. Calm & unflustered, she inspired confidence & creativity! Great venue too. Loved my morning doing something totally new.
