Looking for a fun and creative experience in London? Join this hands-on workshop in Stratford and create your own colourful layered sand candle – a unique piece designed by layering vibrant wax granules to form beautiful patterns and scenes.

This workshop is beginner-friendly, relaxing, and easy to follow. You’ll be guided through the process in a supportive environment, so there’s no need to worry about technical skills. It’s the perfect way to switch off and find your spark as you play with different textures and tones.

During the session, you'll:

Choose from a wide range of colours to create your own layered design
Learn simple techniques to create smooth gradients and clean layers
Freely build your own design, or follow our inspiration templates, including classics like Starry Night
Enjoy the option to use premium essential oils for a rich and natural scent

Whether you're coming alone, with friends, or planning a date, you'll love the low-pressure atmosphere. You're even welcome to bring your own drinks (BYOB) to enjoy while you craft. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others and enjoy a mindful break from the daily grind.

4/5 from Neha Brown, attended Aug 2026: This was mostly a self-led workshop, with helpful briefing and support from the attentive staff member present - a lovely lady whose beauTIful name started with M (and meant God's love/grace?). Apologies I forgot her actual name but she was very kind, polite and accomodating. There were plenty of materials (dried flowers, essential oils and embellishments) to choose from, the atmoshwere was relaxed, with music of our chosing, and we weren't rushed in any way. We did two back to back sessions, and the staff team were very accomodating in starting the second workshop without us having to wait for or waste the time our candles were freezing..all in all, a lovely, relaxed and creating evening was enjoyed! I have removed one star as I think we could have benefitted from a few more "tips and tricks" to try out new things. Overall still highly reccommended.
