You don’t need to have ever painted before to come to one of our events. Take a look at our calendar and choose the artwork you’d like to recreate. We walk our guests through creating their own version of our theme in easy to understand stages. This was a mother's day gift for me. Claire was open, friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. Nice venue, which was clean, bright and airy, just wish there was a little more space between participants.
Loved the materials which were good quality. Shocked when I only saw primary colours plus black and white. However, found it refreshing and a good reminder that you do not need all the fancy colour choices to create a diverse colour palete. Very good value for money. Hard to pick one thing I like the most as the whole evening was mentally and emotionally lifting with good company to boot, plus walked away with a piece of art work that was individual and reignited my love of painting! Thank you Claire!

First of all, I was impressed at how organised the activity was. The teacher (Jo) was very enthusiastic, and gave plenty of support and praise. The instructions were really clear, and the venue was ideal. I went on my own and wanted to try painting with acrylics. I’m going to book the session on the 9th May, because the subject is interesting. I enjoyed everything about tonight! And I will be doing it again. Thank you.

Birthday treat for my friend… something different to do & taking something away from it at the end is great as part of the memory. Found the class relaxing, easy to follow in a nice environment, friendly accommodating host- well organised event & good value for money at price it is. Good range of venues and paintings to choose from too :)

We were a group of 4 new recruits to a paint party. Just fancied a different experience together.
Claire was excellent, friendly accommodating with great communication, and we all really enjoyed the experience.
The fact that everything was provided is a huge plus, just turn up with a smile and no shortage of top ups. Music playlist was great. I think we got what we paid for.
Staff at the venue were excellent, the room was just right, however, due to the lack of parking I would not attend another at this venue in Greens Norton.
Fantastic bunch of ladies & two gents we all produced to be proud of pictures under Claire’s tuition offering as much or little assistance as required.
Would make a great Hen Night activity.

Thoroughly enjoyed our art session with Claire. She was a brilliant teacher and gave clear instructions as well as making it fun. The art materials were great and I was pleased with how my cat turned out! The pub was great although the parking was not easy, we had to park up the road on a side street as the car park was so small.
I really liked having music on during the class, it took me away from everyday worries and was 3 hours of mindfulness! I loved it!

Great first brush party. My mum was very nervous as she felt she couldn’t paint and didn’t want to feel embarrassed. It’s fair to say I regretted inviting her, but Claire was lovely as were all the other people in the class and my mum left having most definitely wanting to do it again. The way of teaching was very easy to follow and we ended up to our surprise with our very own masterpieces and had spent a lovely evening together

What a great evening - our first visit to a Brush Party. Complete beginners but Claire the instructor was so good taking us through each step and explaining how to achieve each part. All the equipment was provided and the venue was good. Very good value for money. We’ll definitely go again.

Materials provided was lovely and atmosphere.
This was my first class along with my daughter.
As we were complete beginners I would have like a little more guidance in doing the shapes ( some of us are slower at in take than others) as this is something I would like to take up as a hobby and I never have done art and my dad and son are very good with drawing and art. So have always wanted to have a go and I like acrylics

A bit confused when we arrived as it was our first time, so saw all these ladies in red aprons, didn’t know who Clare was, so we were not greeted straight away or acknowledged hence four stars.
Great night, Clare gave out clear instructions and gave us plenty of time before moving on to the next part with two breaks in between.

Loved the class and really pleased with the picture I painted. The teacher was great, very patient and helpful.
The room was bright and well set up although I did feel a little squashed in, not much room to either side.

This was my first brush party and I loved it! I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to do it as I’m not particularly artistic but I’m so happy with my result.
The venue was a really nice pub and the barn/function room we were in was great - plenty of space and well lit.
Claire was great at taking us through each stage of the painting and came round and gave individual help when we asked. We had plenty of paint provided and could change our water etc whenever we needed.
What I loved most of all was that it was 3 hours where my mind was completely on what I was doing - perfect way to de-stress!

It was my first brush party and I loved it.
The atmosphere was lovely.
Claire was very kind and helped me when I told her that I was left-handed!
My only negative was that the room was a bit cramped with so many easels in a small room.
Claire lead by example, I did not feel rushed, and I’m very proud of my very plump hummingbird!

Awesome workshop! Really enjoyed creating our own little bit of art. We probably could have done with a little bit more guidance (as we have never painted before) but there was also something really nice about the ‘go for gold’ method! Was nervous as had never been to a class before but right from the start Claire was welcoming, friendly and encouraging. Venue was fabulous. Teacher was great and was able to explain very easily how to mix the paint and apply it. Playlist was OK and kept our tempo up to speed. The room layout was good and not overcrowded.

The venue was a pub in bow brickhill, MK. It was welcoming, clean and very spacious. Claire greeted us on arrival and sat us together as a group, even though we booked individually, but even if we couldn’t have sat next to each other it wouldn’t have mattered because it was a lovely friendly atmosphere. I hadn’t picked up a paintbrush since school (were talking 20 years) but the outcome was absolutely amazing. Thanks to the easy step by step instructions and all the equipment I required, available, I learned so much that I’ve since signed up to another in person event and even bought materials for use at home and signed up to the online brush party! I can’t believe how many tutorials there are too, great value for money would 100% recommend even to people like me who thought they could even draw stick people.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first Brush party with Claire. Having the Painting session in a local pub in Milton Keynes was the perfect location to get to, as it was made up by the great atmosphere and relaxed mood. Claire was a brilliant teacher, so patient and clear with her instructions. I had a brilliant time painting the harbourside, and look forward to many more painting sessions.

The teacher Claire was great, but I felt a long way away as I was on the end of a narrow table. Thus not as much room as the others. My position was not easy for the teacher to get to or engage with and my eyesight is not good. Having said that, the equipment was very good and the venue was marvelous. The teacher was easily heard and I could ask the people adjacent for any recaps.
One niggle about the venue though, if you don't register your car, you will enjoy an £85 fine. No one emphasised this and due to the rain, I didn't linger to read the signs. I am expecting a fine.
Also, I have little skills in mixing paint and would have liked to have seen more of what the teacher was doing. It is easy to slip behind when you are focusing on getting the colour right.
At the end of the evening, I was very pleased with my progress. Slight error on perspective, but this was my first acrylic painting.
I do like the loyalty card scheme and I look forward to the next class.

This was my first brush party and I absolutely loved it - to just focus on the painting, listen to music, chat with friends and walk away with a piece of art to proudly put on my wall (from not having painted since school) was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend in this busy world we live in that this gives you the ideal environment to have a breather and take some time out for your overall wellbeing - LOVED IT!

Claire was a good and patient teacher, the venue was light and airy and spacious for the people who attended…I liked the subject matter, although there’s lots of choice depending on classes…absolutely all material needed were supplied, so yes good value…you can always buy a drink to accompany your experience…Will definitely do another glass! ⭐️

Claire was fabulous. She walked us through each step and gave us lots of encouragement. Her little tips about technique helped us on our way, but throughout she allowed us freedom to be creative if we wanted to add our own style. The venue was ideal. We were tucked away in a more private area away from the pub customers so we didn’t feel like we were being watched or in the way. We will never compete with the masters, but we had a lovely time and we will definitely book again.

Claire was lovely, attentive and patient. The class was structured really well and it was very enjoyable.
The service at the bar venue was very slow but obviously that was nothing to do with the class itself.
I liked the choice of picture which is what attracted me to the brush party course.
I would have preferred another table so we could have been spaced out more as we were packed in quite tightly and there wasn’t much room to manoeuvre drinks, the paint pallets and brushes.
The session was a good length and I didn’t feel rushed in any way and I’ll definitely book again if I see a design that takes my interest
All in all it was a great experience and is ideal for beginners and those wishing to try a fun new activity

Great venue with delicious food, drinks & easy parking. Claire was relaxed, encouraging & fully approachable. She mingled & interacted with people as a group & also individually as well if required. All products supplied user friendly & more available if required. The only suggestion I'd give is more space between the individual painters might have been beneficial. Overall a fab evening though & I'm so pleased that "Ermentrude" my Highland Cow is so cute!

Such a fun and creative evening. The teacher was very easy to follow, the picture is created step by step, lot of help and tips are given throughout.
You will honestly be amazed at what you create.

Had a great evening. All materials provided, great location easy parking and a friendly group. We really enjoyed the experience and came away with a lovely picture, will definitely do another one. Step by step explained and help provided if required. Would highly recommend.

Claire was an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable and friendly. I went as a singleton, to try something new and I shall certainly be going again! Highly recommend this class for anyone-no talent required! The instructions were so clear that everyone in the room went home with a beautiful, unique masterpiece!

1st class I have taken. Lovely group of women in a great location close to home. Claire took us step by step through the painting, of which I never in a million years thought I could recreate. I would definitely recommend to friends and will be back for another class.

This was my first time attending a class like this and the first time I’ve painted a picture since I was 14 at school so really pleased with the outcome. I am looking forward to attending more of Claire’s classes.

2nd time at a brush party. This time painting a hare. I honestly just love seeing the end results. The differences making each one unique but still looking fantastic.
Instructions were clear. Set up I found easier this time at The Talbot.

I attended my first brush party with Claire. She was a laugh, so engaging and great at guiding us through our busy bees painting.

Claire is great at explaining each section. We did the lavender and bee painting which I loved. The venue worked well and didn’t feel too cramped. Looking forward to doing another painting again soon.

9 year old daughter & husband went to the family painting session with Claire at The Talbot. Husband was a bit reluctant and daughter was excited. They both loved it! The music, painting and chilling with some drinks was the perfect combination. Easy and clear instructions - which was something husband was worried about as he’s not really done painting before. They both left saying how great it was and how much they enjoyed it. Daughter felt free to paint how she wanted - as she likes to draw eyes differently and wanted to add rabbit teeth. We all admit it resulted in it looking a bit scary but it gives us a giggle :)

Fabulous evening. Our teacher Claire was lovely and went and just the right pace. It was a fun and creative, great to focus on something creative. I can't draw a stickman so it feels amazing to come away with an actual painting. Can't believe I actually did it.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the venue wasn't ideal. However it was the first time that venue had been used and Claire addressed the issues immediately (well done Claire) and it will be much better next time.

We had a great time. Claire was friendly, helpful and easy to follow. 4 out of 6 in our group do not paint and we managed to create something that resembled the example. We are thinking about attending more now!

What a great evening. Claire was warm and friendly when I arrived, this put me at ease straight away as I went alone. The venue was good, a little snug on the tables though. Overall was a great experience. I was thrilled with the outcome of my cityscape painting.
A complete novice at this sort of thing.! Well worth a try.

Lovely evening with Claire as our artist. She was friendly and knowledgeable.
The venue was uncomfortable in terms of seating, spacing for painting, noise level and overall atmosphere.
Would 100% do another painting with Claire again but not at this venue.

Absolutely loved our experience at the brush party. It was a group of 5 of us. Everything was set up and ready when we arrived. Claire gave simple to follow instructions whilst doing a live demonstration on her own canvas. This made it easy to follow along. And we are all really proud of our paintings. No stick figure birds like we thought might be happening with our previous lack of painting experiences.
Before we left we had already gone online and booked the next class. I’ve been recommending it to everyone since.

Claire was a great teacher and had everything ready for us. It was perfect for someone who has painted before but a little fasted pace for someone who hasn’t (my partner). Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely do another event again :)

This was a birthday present for my mum, who is a very good artist! We both loved the class, such a lovely relaxed environment with friendly like minded people. Claire was great, so patient and allowed us work exactly how we wanted to. My mum said she also learnt a lot from the class, particularly how to work faster rather than procrastinate! We both walked away with lovely pictures, will definitely be going again.

Where to start…We’ll firstly who knew that I could do an awesome painting?! I didn’t. I booked this as a fun little mid week date night for me and the wife. It was brilliant. Claire was amazing at walking us through step by step on how to create our master pieces. The atmosphere that was created by having a glass of wine, (or a beer for me) and some music in the background made most people relax and enjoy the class.
All materials were provided including aprons and to round it all off you walk away with your painting. Will be going again.

Great venue, very spacious with good facilities. I really enjoyed the class-brilliant tutor. Clear step by step instructions with lots of hints and tips. I absolutely love my painting-never thought I had it in me! Would definitely recommend . Good value for money.
