Join us for an inspiring hands-on workshop at Studio 3.12, an intimate, creative space dedicated to screen printing and printmaking. Led by artist Natasha Taheem, this workshop will guide you through the beautiful and traditional art of block printing using Indian wood blocks and vibrant dyes on natural fibres.
In our East London studio, you'll experience a welcoming, creative atmosphere where you'll create your own hand-printed scarf. Natasha will also share her own artistic journey, exploring the fusion of heritage, printmaking, and queer narratives that shape her practise.
Whether you're a beginner or have previous printmaking experience, this workshop offers a supportive environment for creative exploration.
About your teacher:
Natasha Taheem is a British Punjabi artist whose work explores themes of heritage, identity, and queerness. Her practise is currently focused on printmaking, drawing inspiration from South Asian traditions and contemporary art.
Building access information:
Please note that the studio is located on the third floor with no lift access.

Studio 3.12 is home to Frieda Peppercorn and Fiona Blakeman. Both experienced textile printers and designers.
They set up studio 3.12 in 2023 after printing together for a number of years. Fiona primarily works with fashion designers producing bespoke designs and garment printing special techniques. Frieda works with costume designers and artists creating unique pieces and short runs of meterage. With their combined experience they provide an invaluable insight into the world of textile printing.
Studio 3.12 offers residencies to artists to incorporate textile printing techniques into their practice and host workshops from the space.
