The teachers were informative and very friendly and didn’t scoff at my stupid questions Health and safety was really well handled and everyone got a good amount of time with the teachers and I think we all learnt a lot I immediately wanted to book a longer course once this one finished - the time flew by! It’s a great Intro and I enjoyed ever my minute of it!

I loved that the instructors demonstrated and then let us own the process ourselves rather than hand-holding (although of course they provide help and advice!) We had a great time, would highly recommend!

The Urban Crafts Foundation is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based at Lambourne End Centre for Outdoor Education in Essex. We specialise in historic metalwork and offer classes to members of the public in blacksmithing, coppersmithing that in turn allow us to run subsidised workshops with young people facing challenges that stop them from thriving in mainstream education.​ Our work can be see churches, restaurants and private members clubs across the UK. We have also worked with numerous artists to help them realise their visions.
