Not only she’s very knowledgeable and the location super cool.. but she also made sure to play our favorite music and created an incredible atmosphere allowing us all participants to bond with each other. Rate it!

She was so clear with her instructions and you could really feel her passion for the art of candle making throughout the class. She was incredibly helpful throughout, especially when I was struggling with what scents to choose- she really took the time with each person to help them figure out how to make a scent true to them. She was really bubbly and had an infectious energy that made the workshop even better than it already was! She also dropped bits of knowledge about her process (like how long to wait until using the candle, or what scents are good for enhancing the smell of your candle), which again were great for us to learn about. We really liked the detail of designing our own candle labels and boxes. This was a nice special touch to complete the workshop. And the cute gift bags to take our creations home with us. Hospitality was great too - water available, AC room (especially during this extremely hot weather was very much appreciated!) and options to order drinks/food from the bar. I couldn’t recommend this class enough to others, especially with a great host like Precious. Thank you for such a lovely day out ️

She was the only facilitator yet she handled everything with such calm friendly professionalism. Even while managing the entire session on her own she never rushed anyone and made sure every guest felt supported and included. She arrived with all her materials and beautifully set up the tables with her own equipment creating a lovely inviting atmosphere for my celebration. The setup was thoughtful and added a special touch to the occasion making the space feel warm and personal. Throughout the class she kept everyone informed answered every question with patience and guided us through the scent‑making process without ever taking over our creativity. Her attentiveness and kindness made the experience feel truly bespoke. It was a wonderful addition to my milestone birthday and I left with a candle I love and memories I’ll cherish. Highly recommend her for any event where you want something unique personal and beautifully delivered.

• 3/5 from Samuel Hibberd, attended Feb 2026: We enjoyed the class but there were some things that we didnt like about it; - the location was very noisy and not relaxing at all (in the middle of a food court) - the teacher didn’t really give us much direction or guidance, just told us to have fun (difficult to do when you don’t know what you’re doing) - we didn’t learn anything about fragrance pairing or candle making - there was wasn’t enough of some of the fragrances

There was a huge variety of scents to choose from and it was quite a challenge to pick your favourites. We then enjoyed mixing and making the candle. It was very informal and our teacher just guided us through each stage, providing reassurance as necessary.

It was really fun to experiment with different scents. We even got to decorate our candle boxes and create labels for the candles. They came out looking super luxe and smelling lush. Would definitely take this class again!

You could tell she knew what she was talking about! Getting to design the boxes was an extra that made it all the more better. I’d definitely come back and recommend to a friend

Loved the variety of fragrances to choose from and being able to go home with your own personalised scent. 10/10 recommend. and if you're a club / business looking for a cute group activity to do then this is the one for you!

However, the workshop is not at all worth £50. 1 small candle is what you make and spend most of the time colouring a cardboard box to put the candle in. A lot of the fragrances are also empty/smell very artificial. I’d say it’s worth around £15/£20 maximum. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

We made our own signature scent and Precious talked us through the process and also gave suggestions. Our candles smelt heavenly and can’t wait for the 2 weeks so we can burn them! From start to finish, the experience was so enjoyable and engaging. The instructor, Precious, was knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about the craft, making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident as we worked through each step. I loved learning the art of blending scents (got my math on lol), wax melting, and wick maintenance. By the end, I left with gorgeous (if I do say so myself) handmade candle and newfound skills. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for fun, good vibes and a hands-on experience!

Our tutor, Precious, certainly knows her stuff. Who knew that you needed to smell coffee granules to clear your nostrils so that you didn't have 'scent overload'!! It was so much fun. Also a brilliant idea for a social night at home with a group of friends. I would definitely recommend attending one of Gia Como's classes.

The jars and scents were really good quality and I didn't feel rushed when making my candle. I loved that there were pens and stickers to make our candles. The course was free to us (paid for by our building) but I have lucked out - they look, feel and smell so expensive!

The hostess Precious was welcoming, had a wealth of information and advice, not just in the candlemaking process & ingredients but also its after-care. Apart from creating our own candles, we had the opportunity to design our own packaging box to house our Candles, which I thought was fantastic. All in all and absolutely enjoyable day and one I would highly recommend.
