It was a friendly atmosphere to learn in, the cakes were delicious and of course they looked amazing after decorating them. Better than any cakes we've decorated before! Thanks for all the tips. We can see why people keep coming back.

Jane is a fabulous teacher who is very patient and explains the various steps in an easy to follow format, with the added bonus of a booklet to take away with step by step instructions and advice on where to purchase supplies. Even if you are a total beginner you will come away with a wonderful cake. Shout out also to Jane’s husband, Paul, who works away in the background to make sure the day runs smoothly.

We learned how to decorate both cupcakes and a bento cake with beautiful buttercream flowers, and it was so much fun! The materials were well-prepared, and the atmosphere was relaxed and creative. My favourite part was learning how to pipe different flower designs – they turned out even better than I expected! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who enjoys baking or wants to try something new.

  • 5/5 from Johanna Joya, attended Jul 2025: Jane and her partner, Paul, as I remember it correctly, gave me and the other participants a warm welcome from the start. I loved the environment and the setup - the lighting and ventilation despite was really good and it felt very homely too. We did bento cake and cupcake decorating with buttercream and fondant. The lesson, overall, was amazing and informative as Jane taught us a number of more efficient and effective ways on how to do cake decorations from crumb coating to actual decorating. I loved the fondant part the most as I now feel confident to use it in my future cake and cupcake decorations. Thanks again to Jane for all the skills and learning that you’ve imparted to us and also to Paul for the warm hospitality and really good refreshments. We even had a head start on trying Jane’s delicious cupcakes during our break too!

  • 5/5 from Jenny Sheen, attended Jun 2025: I really enjoyed this class. From the minute of meeting Jane & the other 3 lovely ladies also taking the course, everything was so relaxed. The joining instructions were nice and simple, with a map provided on how to get to the venue, to Jane’s husband standing outside and showing the way in, right through to the course itself. Jane was so patient and talked us through everything, checking our understanding as we went. She showed us what to do and helped if we were unsure. There was an information pack we could jot down the nuggets of extra info, which also outlined suppliers as well as future courses and recipes. I really enjoyed the morning and everyone loved eating the cake & cupcakes when I got back home!!thank you ️ Jenny

The teacher Jane was very informative, the pace was good and all equipment was ready for us so all we had to do was decorate. Jane was happy to answer all our questions and pass on her knowledge. Certainly would recommend.
