Pottery course schedule:

  • Week one: You will be guided through the principles of throwing on the wheel.
  • Week two: You will continue some hands-on throwing and be shown how to turn your pieces.
  • Week three: As you continue making your pots on the wheel, you will be shown complementary techniques such as pulling handles.
  • Week four: Introduction to glazes. You will be able to try out a variety of decorating/glaze techniques on your now bisc-fired objects using glaze and underglaze.
