Unlock your inner artist with my 6-week Beginners Watercolour Course! Designed for those who are new to watercolour painting or looking to refresh their skills, this course will guide you through the essentials of painting in a loose, modern style.
What we'll cover:
  • Materials and tools
  • Basic techniques and colour mixing
  • Brush Techniques and Textures Techniques for layering and blending
  • Lots of exercises and mini paintings to bed in the knowledge
This course is perfect for beginners and those with some experience looking to refine their skills. Whether you're an absolute novice or have dabbled in watercolours before, this course will help you grow as an artist.
Please note the dates for the course starting Wed 23rd April. It runs from23 April to 4th June excluding the half term 28th May


Knowledge required
None, beginners, improvers, and long-lost artists are welcome.

This class series runs over 6 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.

Harrow Arts Centre, Hatch end - The Constable Room, Harrow Art Centre, 171 Uxbridge Road, Hatch End, HA5 4EA

Lots of free parking on site but it fills up quickly. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Hatch End station is a 7 minute walk.

Hello, I’m a freelance illustrator working out of my studio in Hatch End, London. A few years ago I had a career change and am now a self taught freelance illustrator.
Although it’s still early days, I’ve been lucky that people like my style enough to commission and collaborate with me to create illustrations for their products. I've also completed a teaching qualification and love to share my painting style in my workshops.
My style is inspired by the feelings of freedom, energy and grace in dance. I try to bring that vitality and movement to everything I paint. My absolute favourite mediums to work in are watercolour and ink as they capture movement brilliantly with their fluid, splashy nature. They have an unpredictability that surprises with lots of happy accidents and they are so gestural and expressive.
I hope you’ll join me at one of my workshops in the near future.
