Learn the basics of tapestry weaving with our Textiles Workshop Manager, Sara, in this 3-hour introductory class. The session will equip you with the fundamentals of weaving on a Frame Loom and introduce you to new creative possibilities of weaving. You will work on your own individual sampler and explore more varied techniques, such as using an extra weft and pile weaving.
This session will cover weaving basics and terminology, beginning to design and grow a tapestry, an introduction to weaving techniques and how to cut off and finish your piece to take home. All materials provided. This is a special intro price.
