I am a ceramicist from Kyoto, Japan based at Studio U in Hackney Wick.I have been making since 2008 and teaching at my studio since 2018. I make functional tableware inspired by nature, people and my Japanese background.I am passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge with my students.I love supporting people to turn their ideas and thoughts into beautiful clay objects. I create a fun and jolly learning atmosphere during my classes. I have even been known to sing karaoke if I’m in the right mood!Our Studio is eco friendly. We recycle clay, glaze and other materials. We also maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment.
