I am a ceramicist from Kyoto, Japan based at Studio U in Hackney Wick.
I have been making since 2008 and teaching at my studio since 2018. I make functional tableware inspired by nature, people and my Japanese background.

I am passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge with my students.
I love supporting people to turn their ideas and thoughts into beautiful clay objects. I create a fun and jolly learning atmosphere during my classes. I have even been known to sing karaoke if I’m in the right mood!

Our Studio is eco friendly. We recycle clay, glaze and other materials. We also maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment.
