The instructor, Michela, was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also very patient, making sure that both of us felt comfortable throughout the session. Her teaching style was clear and structured, which helped us quickly grasp the fundamentals of calligraphy. We were both amazed at how easily Michela broke down complex techniques into simple steps, making it easy for us to follow along and start creating beautiful letters. What really set this experience apart was how much time Michaela dedicated to ensuring we understood every detail. They went above and beyond, offering personalized guidance and addressing any struggles we encountered. Whether it was correcting our grip on the pen or explaining specific strokes, Michaela made sure we felt confident and supported at every stage. By the end of the course, my daughter and I both felt proud of what we had learned. It was truly a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this course to anyone looking to explore the art of calligraphy.

She was really personable, supportive and great at de-mystifying the skills needed for calligraphy, which she has in spades! It didn't matter that some of us in the intimately small class were slow on the uptake about the process for this style of calligraphy, because it was generally just such a fun few hours. I loved that we were able to take home the pens to be able to carry out practising too. Loved that evening completely x

By the end of the two hours, we have a solid understanding of the basic of Calligraphy. I would recommend for anyone who want to try their hand on Calligraphy.

She put together a lovely evening with some very sweet touches including flowers for my friend's birthday, and was really easy to organize with as she was super flexible to fitting to our schedule. My only constructive point would be that it would be awesome if by the end we could create an entire word in some nice format to take away - eg such as the name cards. It's a tricky balance and I definitely appreciate the need to practice all the strokes to get them right (it was much harder than I expected!!) but would also be super cool to have a tangible item to take away in addition to the alphabet sheet. Michela did spend extra time with us showing us alternative styles of letters which was really cool.. Either way the session has definitely sparked an interest and I'm looking forward to doing some practice at home!!

Michela was great - I was genuinely a little anxious at first, but I had needn't worried. The venue was great - loved the music. I enjoyed having my friends all around the table and the general chilled vibe.
