Hello, I'm Sophie, the founder of Bagatelle Florals.Originally from Paris, I've always had a deep love of flowers, scenography and hospitality. My passion for flowers began in childhood, watching my grandmother tend her cut flower garden and create beautiful arrangements for her home. Those memories continue to inspire everything I do today.I believe that surrounding ourselves with creativity and beauty can enrich everyday life, and flowers have a unique way of bringing joy into the home.Before becoming a florist, I spent over ten years designing and building luxury private gardens across Europe. This experience gave me a strong understanding of seasonality, colour, composition and planting, which now informs my floral designs. I'm a City & Guilds-certified florist and I am proud to have recently collaborated on a Chelsea in Bloom window display that was awarded a Gold Medal.I love teaching because I know how rewarding it is to learn a new skill. In a world that's becoming increasingly digital, there's something incredibly special about creating something beautiful with your own hands. My workshops are designed to be relaxed, creative and welcoming, giving you the confidence to explore floristry while enjoying a mindful, inspiring experience.I look forward to welcoming you to a workshop and sharing my love of seasonal flowers with you.
