Baby Quilt Making Experience

If you want to commemorate an upcoming addition to the family or know someone who's expecting, join me for a unique baby quilt-making experience in London where you’ll not only learn basic sewing techniques but also unleash your creativity by painting on fabric.With so many of my friends getting pregnant back to back and I must say the husbands poorly (no shade) organising the baby showers, I decided to take over!After doing these baby quilt-making/baby shower experiences for friends and their recommended friends for about a year, I decided why not do it as an experience for other people. So, here it is!The class runs for three hours and you will learn basic sewing techniques as well painting on fabric in the beginning. Once learnt you will each design, sew and paint your personal 50x50 cm pieces of fabric, all whilst we play some games and enjoy some delicious snacks. Then after two weeks, you get this personalised memory for you and the little bubbas. I really love facilitating this experience because it goes beyond an experience or a gift!The workshop also provides food and drinks whilst you are working hard! Because what would a baby shower quilting experience feel like without some delish food and snacks :). Prior to attending you will also be sent a games form to fill in, and during the workshop we will play fun games relating to the parents to be i.e: where did they meet? Who said I love you first? Guess the baby's or babies names? Once we have finished creating our masterpieces I will take all the pieces, put it together and it will be ready for collection in 2 weeks. You can either collect the quilt in person or it can be shipped. It's the ideal way to take some of the baby shower planning stress away from your best friend, partner, neighbour or even that work colleague that's like, "OMG WHAT TO DO!!!". You'll walk away having learned a new skillset, created a fun memory but also having made a present together that both the parents and the little one will cherish.

Please note: Public dates for this experience require at least 8 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the experience.
