At Home Necklace Pendant Making Kit

How would you like to design and carve your own one-of-a-kind necklace pendant? Why not learn the ancient art of carving wax for lost wax casting AND create a beautiful pendant! There is something so special about a piece of jewellery that can be passed down for generations -- especially if it’s one you made yourself!Zero experience is required and even if you think you don’t have a creative bone in your body, I promise you do, or I can at least help you find it!Wax carving is truly my favourite part of the jewellery making process, which is why I’m excited to share this with you.What's included:

• Two jeweller’s wax pendant blanks (one for practice, the other to cast).
• Two double-ended hand-forged carving tools (these four carving tips will give you the best result with the most ease. They include: scribe/detailing, small 90°, carving knife, and curved rake).
• Double-ended wax file.
• Three different grades of sandpaper and filing stick.
• Wax marker (to draw your design on your pendant).
• Detailed instructions and access to a series of online how-to videos.
• Return tin, details form and eco-padded envelope to send back your piece to be cast and polished.
• A handmade cotton bag to keep your kit in.
• The casting, polishing and return postage for your finished ring.

What makes this jewellery making kit different?There may be other kits on the market - but I believe there are a few things that set them apart:

• Quality tools: A professional jeweller's wax file and two double-ended hand-sharpened carving tools.
• Quality instructions: A wax carving guide, drawing guide and how-to videos by jeweller, Natasha Kutrovacz.
• Quality casting, gold plating and polishing: we only cast in Recycled Silver and Recycled Gold, with local casting, polishing, stone setting, and plating.

What will my pendant be made of?

• Solid Recycled.925 Solid Sterling Silver.
• 22ct Gold Vermeil, which is 2.5 microns of 22ct gold plated onto solid recycled.925 Sterling Silver

Follow the included Instructions and Online Videos to start carving. Once finished, fill out the Return Form, place your pendant in the tin provided and use the pre-addressed envelope to mail it back. Your pendant will then be cast, polished and shipped back to you.Carving takes about 1.5 hours or more, depending on your design and pace. There is no deadline to complete your ring.Once received, your carved ring will take 5-10 business days to be cast, polished and posted back. Gold Vermeil takes up to an additional 5 business days.
