classes: Coffee

I have spent years building my knowledge across every part of coffee: sensory skills, barista skills, and roasting, all through SCA certification, plus Q Grader status, which means I have been trained to assess coffee quality against the same standard used across the industry worldwide. I am currently completing my SCA Authorized Trainer status too, so training is not a side interest for me. It is becoming the core of what I do.

I teach the way I wish I had been taught: hands on, no shortcuts, and no pretending something is simple when it is not. Whether someone wants to pull a proper shot of espresso, understand what is actually happening during roasting, or just taste coffee properly for the first time, I break it down so it makes sense and actually sticks.

My own roastery gives me a steady stream of real coffee, real problems, and real questions to bring into every session, so nothing I teach is theoretical. You will leave with skills you can use again the next day, not just a nice afternoon.
