I'm of Nigerian origin and was born and raised in Italy, before moving to Newcastle at the age of 12, where I live now with my family.
Outside of work, I love reading psychological thriller novels, spending quality time with friends and family, and running my event decorating business. I'm also a big fan of self-care, whether that's doing my nails or taking time to unwind.

Top weekend activities
- Going to the cinema – I usually go every single weekend, to see the latest film!
- Spending time with friends and family.
- Getting stuck into some self-care – this is a super important part of my week!
Favourite craft
Although I'm still a beginner, I've recently started learning to sew and have a few projects waiting to be finished! I also love creative projects that support my event decorating business, and would love to learn how to use a Cricut machine to make personalised decorations and gifts.
3 top tips to recharge and unwind
- Talk to someone you trust! Opening up to friends or family can make a huge difference, no matter how you're feeling.
- Set yourself small, achievable goals and write them down. Looking back at how far you've come can be really motivating!
- Make time for yourself. Whether it's going for a walk, reading a book, watching a film or simply doing something you enjoy, it's important to recharge.
3 top tips for embracing creativity
- Remember that creativity is a journey! Don't expect perfection straight away – the more you practise, the more rewarding it becomes.
- Don't compare your work to others. Everyone starts somewhere, and every creative journey is different!
- Be open to trying new things. You never know what you'll enjoy or be good at until you give it a go.
