Albany Theatre

Built in 1935, The Albany Theatre boasts an impressive history and offers unique flexible venue spaces suitable for a variety of your business needs, from meetings, conferences to workshops and networking events. We have four ‘ready to use’ spaces, our main auditorium, 2 Studio theatres and two participatory studios.The main house seats over 600 across two levels and the studio theatres accommodate audiences of up to 110 in a variety of formats. As well as housing a variety of shows from live music to inspirational talks in a unique venue, the Albany Theatre is also available to hire for multi-purpose film shoots with availability dependent on incoming productions. With an experienced inhouse technical team, we can offer you the support you require or offer standalone venue hire, with the option to bring in your own equipment.We are passionate about providing more opportunities to the local community, and partnering with businesses to provide a flexible venue space to fulfil your events requirements in an accessible central city centre location with plenty of parking only 150 metres away.
