Learn how to create your own seasonal abstract in this all-day art studio workshop. Whether you're a beginner or looking to brush up on your acrylic painting skills, this is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in a calm and welcoming environment and unleash your creativity.
Starting at 9.30am, you'll be greeted with a warm cup of coffee and a friendly chat as we set up our materials and get to know each other. With a maximum group size of 6, you can expect individual attention and plenty of time for personalised guidance.
Working on paper, you'll have the chance to capture the stunning colours of the season and create your own mini-series. Choose to mount your artwork in a picture frame for a striking display in any room, or opt for smaller pieces that can be mounted on cards and given as heartfelt gifts. Mountboard and cards will be provided, along with all the necessary art materials.
In my well-stocked studio, you'll have access to a variety of tools and materials, allowing you to experiment with different techniques and even create mixed media pieces. I'll be there to guide you every step of the way, sharing fantastic new techniques and answering any questions you may have. This workshop is not only about learning but also about enjoying the process and channeling your inner artist.
Throughout the day, refreshments will be provided, and we'll take a short lunch break around 12.30pm. You'll have the opportunity to explore the quaint rural setting of Bradley, with the option to join the group at the nearby Red Lion pub if you wish. Returning to the studio, you'll feel recharged and inspired, ready to add the finishing touches to your masterpieces. And my favourite part? Peeling back the tape to reveal your perfect picture.
We'll mount one of your pieces, and if time allows, you can create a couple of cards as well. By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a clear mind, newfound skills, and a beautiful artwork to proudly display or gift to a loved one.
This workshop is beginner-friendly but also suitable for those looking to explore advanced techniques or transition from realism to abstraction. If you have specific needs or goals, let me know in advance, and I'll tailor the workshop to suit you.
