6-Week Pottery Wheel Throwing Course

Six weeks dedicated to the pottery wheel, giving you time to practise and develop your skills.

6 x 2.5 hours Class size 1 to 8 guests       £380 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Six weeks gives you the time to really focus on the pottery wheel, practise consistently and develop your skills from one session to the next. Whether you are learning to throw for the first time or returning with previous experience, the course allows you to work at your own level, with plenty of individual guidance throughout.
It has become one of our students’ favourite courses, with many choosing to return again and again as they continue building confidence and refining their skills on the pottery wheel. Each course offers new challenges and the opportunity to progress at your own pace.
As your skills develop, you can begin working with larger amounts of clay, explore more complex forms and refine techniques such as trimming, pulling handles, surface decoration and glazing. There is always something new to work towards, whether you are joining us for the first time or returning to continue your practice.
What you'll get
Up to 5kg of clay per session
Use of all studio tools and equipment
Glazes and kiln firings
Up to 15 finished, glaze-fired pieces to take home

My name is Cosmin Ciofirdel. I am a ceramic artist and educator based in London, UK. My passion for ceramics began in childhood when I first discovered clay while playing on a riverbank. Since then, I have continuously explored, learned, and shared my experience, knowledge, and love for clay.
I founded the Ceramic Sculpture Studio in 2015 with the ambition of creating functional pottery for everyday use, unique ceramic sculptures, and fostering creativity through the medium of clay.
